Jade Trau, a division of S. Trau, was founded in 2011 by 6th generation diamantaire Jade Lustig and her husband, jewelry industry veteran Barry Lustig. With diamonds in her DNA and over a decade of experience managing the family business, Jade came to realize that the kind of modern diamond jewelry she and her friends were interested in wearing just wasn’t represented in the market. After designing several capsule collections to critical acclaim, she officially launched her namesake line, including a branded collection in partnership with Forevermark®. With a deep understanding of the way jewelry should be worn as opposed to just looking spectacular in a case, Jade is focused on creating pieces that wear beautifully and comfortably. She selects each diamond herself for its individual beauty and fire, favoring the round-edge fancy-shape diamonds that are the core of her diamond business – marquise, oval, pear and round – in smaller sizes accessible to a larger audience. The designs stand alone but are also easily layered and integrated with a woman’s full jewelry collection.
